Lunchbox is an Equal Opportunity Employer Job Description: Job Description for Manager, Business Development Summary: As Manager, Business Development for Lunchbox, LP you will be responsible for identifying and delivering volume driving opportunities for new clients. This is a unique position in the market in the fact that you will have exposure and engagement beyond just selling. You will also have involvement in helping to develop the creative idea as well as the development of client pitches and brainstorms. Your role will be focused on soliciting new business opportunities, growing Lunchbox presence in the marketplace, being a contributing team player and delivering new business revenue. In addition to delivering a sales volume target, you will also be responsible and accountable for onboarding new clients and managing client exceptions. This role requires the ability to have strong relationship building skills as well as the ability to lead both projects and teams. Experience: - Minimum 5 years experience in a proven sales and marketing role - Experience in digital sales a must - Proficient in Excel, Keynote, PowerPoint and Word - BA required / MBA preferred - Proven successful track record in sales - Client facing role: account management and strategy development experience a must Your key tasks and responsibilities shall include the following: - Proactively prospect, qualify and grow account list by acquiring new leads and securing capabilities meetings with new prospective clients - Exhibit consultative selling style by conducting needs assessments and asking questions to determine what the clients objectives are in order to develop winning strategies - Develop our consistently growing pipeline of opportunities by understanding what is being offered in the market place; help the company solidify and strengthen our competitive advantage - Develop and deliver pitches that meet the clients needs - Deliver new business revenue target - Engage/Strategize with clients and internal teams to determine business needs and formulate solutions from our portfolio of products - Cultivate strong relationships by conducting sales calls, communicating clearly and being a client advocate - Partner with internal teams to effectively present solution:based proposals that deliver against the clients KPIs. Ensure client expectations are set and met/surpassed in regards to program development as well as execution before, during and after the sale - Have the ability to obtain the necessary information from clients including understanding their marketing objectives and current business situation/challenges in order to completely fill out a brief and kick off a project - Proven ability to write complete briefs, statements of work, run pricing scenarios, create client facing budgets, interface with clients, proactively manage expectations and lead cross:functional teams - Keep account information recorded, organized and up to date within the Advantage system - Achieve quarterly and yearly revenue goals - Actively participate as a valued team member in all internal meetings, client briefings, brainstorms and project work It is expected that you will perform additional duties and assume additional responsibilities as needed by the Company.
